Very old live Bristlecone Pine

I have hiked through the Bristlecone forests for many years and keep coming back to my favorite tree. These trees are the oldest living things. Tree core sampling s have shown many of the old trees to be over 4000 years old. Many groves these trees exist in California and Nevada but this grove in the White Mountains has the very oldest trees. They live at 11,000 ft in a very hostile environment.
