This young lady was standing ecstatically celebrating being here on the Mist Trail. She had been rewarded with a trip to Yosemite because she (and many others) had raised a lot of money for fighting Leukemia. This fall drops 317 feet on the main branch of the Merced River. This was the high water of early June, and the mist blowing from the falls was totally soaking her but she did not mind and I got a beautiful photo..
